Siyuan Li is an Assistant Professor in the Operations & Technology Group. He earned his Ph.D. in Management Information Systems from the University of Georgia, and an undergraduate degree in Finance and Information Systems from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.

His research mainly focuses on the interaction between social media, information technology, and human behaviors. Specifically, his research areas include social recommender systems, social network analytics, and green information systems. His work has appeared in the Journal of Association for Information Systems (JAIS), MIS Quarterly Executives, International Journal of Social Ecology and Sustainable Development (IJSESD), and major international conferences, which include ICIS, Annual Meeting of AoM, ECIS, AMCIS, HICSS, among others.

He has taught business analysis, data management, business programming, system analysis, and design.
