Lou Ann McElyea is a section leader for William & Mary's Online MBA program. Some of her previous roles in business include director of worldwide program management for NCR Corporation, manager of global business planning and process improvement for ALLTEL, Inc., engagement manager in the Worldwide Business Transformation Consulting Group for IBM, and president of Information Systems, Inc. where she had more than 15 years management consulting experience working with Fortune 100 companies and large government agencies. She has been involved in every aspect of information systems for more than 30 years, including roles in consulting, management, training, and education.

Lou Ann earned a master’s certificate in project management from George Washington University in Washington, D.C., and an ABD designation toward a Ph.D. in Management Information Systems from Northcentral University in Prescott, Arizona. In 2003, she also earned the Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
