Matthew Dean is a clinical associate professor at William & Mary’s Raymond A. Mason School of Business. He was previously a faculty member at the University of Southern Maine and the University of New Orleans. The crux of his research involves developing modeling tools and methodologies for addressing complex management decision-making challenges. Matt seeks real business problems to solve using business analytics, with a primary emphasis on transforming data into insight for making better management decisions.

Prior to his academic career, Matt worked at several telecommunications companies, including two startups and an employee-owned company specializing in providing analytical solutions to complex problems.
