How to Create an Inclusive Workplace Culture

Inclusivity is an important topic in today’s workplace, and in our day-to-day lives. While representation has been an ongoing focus of organizations to remedy the lack of diversity at many companies, getting people in the door is only the first step to promoting a more positive workplace that benefits from diverse perspectives. Now, the push for representation must also bring inclusion into the equation to foster a culture where everyone can feel they belong.

In this video, “Seven Considerations for Inclusive Leadership,” Associate Professor Inga Carboni addresses the importance of creating a culture of inclusivity in the workplace. She explores the necessary fundamentals to begin creating an inclusive work environment, and outlines seven characteristics of an inclusive leader.

In this exclusive video, you will learn:

  • What it means to lead inclusively and why is it essential to a positive workplace culture
  • What a psychologically safe work environment is and why it’s central to creating an inclusive workplace
  • The characteristics of an inclusive leader
  • And much more!
