After that, Christopher completed the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam and started a full-time job at Deloitte in external audit. Following his time there, he began his current job as a special agent at the FBI in New York City. His casework primarily involves investigations into violations such as hate crimes, extortion, cyberstalking, and financial crimes such as money laundering, embezzlement and investment fraud. Along with his CPA license, Christopher has also obtained the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) licenses.

In higher education, Christopher has taught online for The University of Mount Olive (N.C.) and in-person courses for Pace University (N.Y.). He has experience teaching financial accounting, forensic accounting, advanced accounting, ethics, taxation, auditing and more. He received the "Teaching Excellence Award for Part-Time Faculty" in 2022 from Pace’s Lubin School of Business. He is looking forward to leading the Audit and Assurance course (BUAD 509D) at W&M and taking on other opportunities as they arise.
